Cuban singer Olga Chorens and Tony Alvarez one of the most recognized Cuban
TV couples. The sign is located on 8th Street and 35 Ave, Miami.

11/15/2007 - celebrating the Art Week Hialeah which
was sponsored by Hialeah Mayor Julio Robaina, the Hialeah City Council and
the Cultural Affairs Council.
In the Walker Community Center's library, a One
Man Show took place to exhibit the art work of Luis Posada Carriles. The
show was curated by Maribel C. Spiropoulos, who in the photo above is
presenting the Mayor with a painting by the artist.

Labor of Love Picnic, organized by Lion President of
The Miami Buena Vista Lions Club, Maribel C. Spiropoulos, to honor Mayor
Julio Robaina for his contribution to the Community. In the photo the Mayor
is receiving a certificate of appreciation from the Club and a plate called
"The Cuban Tear" created by artist Lion Giorgos Spiropoulos. All proceeds
went to blind causes. |

of The Home for the Blind, celebrated their
traditional Christmas party. This
occasion was shared with The Hialeah Pan American and The Miami Honduras

invidents of the Home. A beautiful Christmas
lunch was served, with music, dancing
and raffles.
